Alvin Bot is an open-source, MIT-licensed, self-hosted autonomous AI agent that runs on your own machine and answers you on Telegram, Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, Signal, a terminal TUI, and a web dashboard. It is built on the official Claude Agent SDK and runs a provider-agnostic engine that also drives OpenAI, Groq, Google Gemini, NVIDIA NIM, OpenRouter, and Ollama, with automatic failover after two consecutive provider failures and a heartbeat health check every five minutes.
