AskRex Assistant is a local-first AI assistant for text chat, voice interaction, desktop control surfaces, and credential-gated home/productivity integrations. It runs from the Python rex package, with optional local ML dependencies for Whisper, openWakeWord, and XTTS, plus optional cloud/local LLM routing through OpenAI-compatible providers and Ollama.
