state.db live in Rust; crates are split by responsibility (target /secrets.json (0600, plaintext) when there is none — the save response says which one it was, honestly. The old JOY_API_KEY / JOY_BASE_URL env vars are no longer read — configuration has exactly one path: models.json`.
