Use Codex and Claude Code as one local engineering system instead of choosing between them. Codex keeps user intent, architecture, executor choice, and the final verdict. A persistent Claude Code parent retains execution context and routes bounded work to Haiku, Sonnet, Opus, or Fable. Native GPT-5.6 roles are available as an explicit fallback after Claude returns custody.
