Mnemos is a personal RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) system that defaults to 100% local — embeddings on your machine, chat on your machine, zero external inference calls. Drop a folder of documents, ask questions in plain English, get answers with citations to your own files. The audit log captures every query for transparency; in the default install, query audit events record the local chat provider (ollama) and ingest events stay local but don't carry a provider field — no external-provider call is ever recorded.
