Identity: this is an independent community project by Kennedy Umege. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or Anthropic. OpenAI's openai/codex-plugin-cc is a Claude Code plugin that invokes Codex; this project runs in the opposite direction, letting Codex supervise durable Claude workers. This project was renamed from codex-plugin-cc to codex-claude-companion to avoid confusion with OpenAI's plugin of that name; the legacy codex-plugin-cc npm package is deprecated and forwards here.
