Most enterprise M365 deployments have a small cohort of users on M365 Copilot (the premium licence) and a much larger group on Copilot Chat — the version included with any commercial M365 licence at no extra cost. That larger group does not get email or calendar grounding, SharePoint search, or Teams integration.
