Augment Extensions is the structural layer between your rule modules and the AI coding tools that consume them. It treats coding standards, domain rules, workflows, and examples as versioned, composable units, and ships them into the native rules surface of every major AI coding tool from a single source of truth. The augx CLI links modules into projects, materializes them into per-tool locations, aggregates them into per-tool single-file rule artifacts, and keeps the whole arrangement coordinated through a manifest that links specs, tasks, rules, and the files they govern.
