Codex Mate is an open-source companion launcher and local maintenance toolkit for the Codex desktop app. It starts Codex through an external launcher, injects optional UI enhancements through Chrome DevTools Protocol, runs a local helper server for user actions, and repairs local sidebar/history state after account, provider, or model changes.
