Instead of one model doing everything, Bob (the orchestrator) routes work to specialist subagents — a Senior Engineer writes the code, a Critic must approve it, an Explorer researches the codebase, Vision drives the browser to verify UIs — while a completion controller enforces that nothing ships unreviewed.
