Lociant is a local runtime for low-power, always-on devices close to the physical world. It turns phones, boards, and small Linux systems into controlled edge nodes: local models, hardware-backed capabilities, runtime state, and authenticated LAN connections stay with the device. Cloud services and desktop clients can use these nodes through MCP or the control API, while execution and policy remain at the edge.
